Overview

NTB (National Tire & Battery) operates as part of the Mavis family of brands, one of the largest tire and automotive service networks in the country, with a location on Franklin Pike serving Nashville. Mavis-affiliated stores like this one now span more than 2,100 locations across 36 states, giving customers the benefit of national buying power and consistent service standards while still functioning as a neighborhood shop for day-to-day tire and auto needs.

The location offers comprehensive automotive care beyond tires alone, including tire sales and installation, oil changes, brake service, wheel alignment, and tire rotation, along with general auto repair. On the tire side, the shop stocks a wide range of major manufacturers, including Michelin, Goodyear, Firestone, Bridgestone, Continental, Pirelli, and Cooper, giving customers substantial choice across price points and vehicle types. Same-day or next-day installation is typically available, reducing wait times compared to shops with more limited inventory.

A notable feature of the Mavis/NTB network is its price-matching guarantee, with the company stating it “will beat any price” on comparable tire quotes — a meaningful assurance for price-conscious shoppers comparing multiple tire retailers. Most tires purchased come with manufacturer warranties, and Mavis layers on additional service warranties depending on the specific work performed, giving customers multiple levels of protection. The broader Mavis organization brings over 70 years of operational history to the table, along with trained and certified technicians who receive ongoing professional development. Customers can book appointments online or simply walk in, adding flexibility for those with unpredictable schedules.
